Functional Core Rehabilitation Program

If you are experiencing symptoms of functional core weakness or diastasis recti, it can be treated with Functional Core Rehabilitation.

Our Program Includes:

  1. One on one sessions with a licensed Physical Therapist trained in functional core rehabilitation.
    • Sessions are 1 hour each. Most clients require 3-5 sessions, approximately 2 weeks apart, though this will vary on the severity of the symptoms.
    • Options for additional online training through The Tummy Team, virtual sessions and in-home sessions (in some areas) are available.
  2. Focus on patient education to understand how your true core is designed to work, and how current dysfunction may be causing pain and related symptoms.
  3. Development of an individualized home exercise plan with specific progressive activities and weekly goals designed to help you reconnect with your core, building coordination and strength.
  4. Personalized functional training to find ways to incorporate core safe strategies into your daily routine to help you achieve your goals.

 

 


Prenatal Preparation Program

If you are pregnant, this program can help you get a jump start to feeling strong throughout pregnancy, give strategies for labor and delivery and set you up for an easier birth recovery.

Our program includes:

  1. One on one sessions with a licensed Physical Therapist trained in treating prenatal and post-natal clients.
    • Most clients require 2-3 sessions approximately 2 weeks apart to complete the Prenatal Preparations Program, though this will vary on the stage of pregnancy. Timing can be adjusted to fit the client’s needs.
    • Options for additional online training through The Tummy Team, virtual sessions and in-home sessions (in some areas) are available.
  2. Focus on client education to understand some of the physical changes that occur during pregnancy. We’ll show you how your true core is designed to work during pregnancy, labor and delivery, and what your body needs while recovering from c-section or vaginal birth.
  3. Development of an individualized home exercise plan for exercises with specific progressive activities and weekly goals designed to help you stay connected to your core during pregnancy and help heal your core after delivery.
  4. Personalized functional training for incorporating core-safe strategies in your daily routine during pregnancy, how to set up your environment for baby, and how to avoid injuries from common “parenting postures.”

 

 


True Core Athletic Training

If you are looking to find a way to get back to your favorite exercise or activity after pregnancy or injury, or  just want to have your form checked and have opportunity to ask questions from a professional, True Core Training can help.

Our program includes:

  1. One on one sessions with a licensed Physical Therapist who is also a certified STOTT Pilates, Total Barre and CORE Athletic Conditioning Instructor.
    • Appointments are one hour in length. We recommend scheduling for 2-3 sessions to develop personalized exercise program and target specific training goals.
    • Appointments may be weekly or biweekly for on-going personal training.
  2. A focus on client education regarding proper form while exercising, functional core strength and understanding how to adjust your favorite activities to decrease potential for injury.
  3. Development of individualized exercise plan tailored to the client’s needs and goals.
    • Exercises can be adapted to help with training for a variety of sports and activities (running, golf, Zumba, Cross Fit, etc).

 

 


Surgery Preparation Program

If you have been told you require abdominal surgery or know you will need a c-section delivery, our Surgery Preparations Program can help.

Our program includes:

  1. One on one sessions with a licensed Physical Therapist trained in functional core rehabilitation.
    • Sessions are one hour in length. Most clients require 3-5 sessions, approximately 2 weeks apart, though this will vary on the timing of surgery and client needs.
    • Options for additional online training through The Tummy Team, virtual sessions and in-home sessions (in some areas) are available.
  2. Focus on patient education to understand how connecting to your true core can help before, during and after surgical intervention, how your body is designed to work and how current dysfunction could contribute to stress on the surgical site.
  3. Development of an individualized home exercise plan with specific progressive activities designed to help you build true core strength and coordination that will help maximize the success of abdominal surgery.
  4. Personalized functional training to find ways to incorporate core training and core-safe strategies into your daily routine before and after your surgery.

We do not bill insurance, however we make every effort to provide payment plans and scholarships when the cost of treatment is a barrier to getting the help you need.

If you have out of network benefits and would like to bill your insurance independently you can be provided with a receipt of payment from True Core Connections.
